AMT 55 Chevy Pickup

March 2020

This is my 3rd model of the year & the 1st Covid-19 Quarantine 2020 Build. It's an AMT Stepside kit, built pretty much straight out of the box, except for spark plug wires, fuel line, & some mild customizing. The color is a custom mix of parklight yellow & stoplight red.

A few custom touches can be seen here, painted bumpers, smoothed bed floor, & shaved door handles

I sanded the back of the grill until the holes opened up. The parking lights were made fron aluminum tubing, heated, pushed into clear plastic, cut to length, & polished

Backup lights are made the same way as the park lights, tail lights done with larger tubing & red plastic
